Go with Voracious Hunger

Going out to eat is a popular pastime whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For teens, finding somewhere with delicious, but affordable food can be a challenge. The Pink Mocha Cafe solves this problem by offering a variety of drinks, salads, pancakes, and more along with great service.

The Pink Mocha Cafe is located in Hartland, Wisconsin, right off of Highway 16. When I first visited the cafe, I expected a small menu. I was surprised to find an array of drinks and food allowing for many choices. Although some items can be slightly overpriced, most things on the menu are reasonable. If you are worried about price, many dishes are large enough to split with a friend (especially the pancakes). I would recommend going with voracious hunger.

For breakfast, you can get three pancakes the size of a dinner plate and accompanied by your choice of bacon or sausage. I was hesitant to try the most exotic flavor, blueberry granola. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the sweet, soft blueberries complimented the crunchy granola. I often see little kids getting chocolate chip pancakes piled high with whipped cream. The french toast from the Pink Mocha will never disappoint. The pastry options are numerous with savory scones to sweet chocolate muffins.

For the healthy eater, there are mindful options. The breakfast bowls come with eggs, potatoes, and vegetables. You can also get a breakfast sandwich or wrap filled with vegetables and more. Egg dishes can be over easy, scrambled, or in an omelet. There are also granola and yogurt dishes for those looking for a lighter meal.

The lunch menu has a large range of sandwiches, salads, and things in between. A personal favorite of mine is the pretzel melt. The savory ham pairs well with a tangy fig sauce and sour pickles. The grilled chicken cobb salad is delicious and great on a summer day. For the winter blues, the Pink Mocha can warm you up with soup or a panini. There are pick two options for the indecisive customer to satisfy any craving. You can have a cup of soup,  half a sandwich or half a salad. Great for getting a taste of everything!

A shortage of drinks is never a problem here. From coffee to smoothies, you cannot go wrong. My friend loves the Frappes and is always up to try the temporary special flavor. I love the lattes and have adventured through the flavors. My family loves the fresh juice selection on a nice warm day.

If you go to the Pink Mocha, I would recommend going with more time than you anticipate needing. The service is great and the waiters are friendly, but the food can take a fair amount of time to come out. However, once it comes, no complaints are made as the taste of the dish offsets the length of time it takes.

Overall, Pink Mocha is a great place to go with family and friends. The only consolation is the time food takes. If you are willing to wait a few extra minutes for fresh, flavorful food you will not be upset.
