The Arrowhead Boys Varsity Soccer season is already underway. The Warhawks are returning players from last season, including senior Colin Dibb, senior Colin Koerber, senior Kevin Starr, Senior Ryan Rice and senior Peter Schumacher. Last year, Rice was first Team All Confernece and Koerber was Second Team All Conference.

The Warhawks lossed Tanner Federspill, Sam Freedman and Mitch Bastein to graduation last year.

“Our team chemistry is a little worst then last year’s team,” says  Dibb senior captain of the soccer team.

The Warhawks also have goals set in mind for this season.

“We want to win Conference then win Sectionals and then most importantly win State,” says Dibb.

Last year, the Warhawks lost to Cedaburg 2-1 in the Regional Playoffs.

The Classic Eight Conference has teams that the Warhawks will end up facing later in the season that could be a threat.

“Kettle Moraine and Waukesha North are great teams with young and experienced players returning,” says Schumacher.

The Warhawks defeated the North Stars 2-1 in their second conference game.  They have a game on the 17th Tuesday might against a 6-1 Mukwonago Indians at Mukwonago.

“If we just stay focused on our goals and keep playing hard and taking one game at a time we will have a great shot at winning the Conference,” says Schumacher.

The Warhawks are tied for first with Kettle Moraine in the Classic Eight Conference. Both teams meet later in the season at Kettle Moraine on Tuesday October 8th, which could determine the Conference champion.
