Girls Prepare For Their Prom Night

Arrowhead will be having their prom at The Country Springs at 7:00 PM on April 12th, 2014. The dance is held for juniors and seniors who wish to attend. Arrowhead juniors Kristen Boucher and Paige Kruse prepare for this year’s prom, themed as “The Great Gatsby.”

Boucher says she is already prepared for prom even though she doesn’t have a date yet. Boucher says she has already purchased her dress online and is excited to wear it at the dance.

“I found my dress on the first website I went on. I loved it so much. It was bright red, so gorgeous, and I am so excited to get all dressed up with my friends for prom,” says Boucher.

Kruse says she is slowly getting prepared for prom, but she says she is also taking her time because there is still a few weeks until the date.

“I have my dress picked out online, but I just have to order it. I didn’t get asked yet either so I’m kind of just taking things slow,” says Kruse.

Boucher says her dress is going to relate to the theme of “The Great Gatsby” and she is so excited Arrowhead picked that for the theme this year.

“I love Gatsby and am so happy this year has that theme. It’s definitely a lot better than previous years’ themes,” says Boucher.

Kruse says her dress has no correlation to “The Great Gatsby” theme, but is excited to see all of the decorations and music that will go with it.

“This theme is so cool and will have some awesome decorations because ‘The Great Gatsby’ is such a cool and unique theme to have. I can’t wait to see how it turns out,” says Kruse.

Boucher says prom isn’t only expensive for the guy, but also for the girl. Boucher says she payed for her dress on her own and spent $220 on it.

“The guys do have to pay for tickets, but my dress costs more than both,” says Kruse.

Boucher says she is excited for prom and has looked forward to it for as long as she can remember.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always looked forward to my high school prom,” says Kruse.
