Arrowhead Releases Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex Plans

Arrowhead’s planning on building a field hockey and lacrosse stadium. They are planning to build it on the school property North of Highway K. They are building this obviously for the lacrosse and field hockey teams.

The committees of coaches who are thinking about this complex are going to be running fundraisers to get the money to build it. They will need to raise a grand total of 3.1 million dollars by December 19th, 2014.

The Building and Grounds Committee of the school board reviewed and approved the request from the group to use private funding for the complex.  The district’s Master Plan, developed in collaboration with Miron Construction and Eppstein Uhen Architects, dedicates the property North of Nighway K to athletic field development.

The only way that the complex will be built is if the 3.1 million dollars is raised in the fundraisers.

If they can’t raise the money by the deadline  then the money that was donated would have to be sent back to the donors before January 1st, 2015.

The complex will include two turf fields, scoreboards, a ticket booth, parking lot, lights, fencing, a concession stand, bathrooms, storage, infrastructure, and home bleachers on the main field.
