Arrowhead’s boys varsity lacrosse team is off to a good start, winning their first four games against Hamilton, Neenah, Franklin and Oconomowoc. However, they lost their last four games to Wayzata (MN), Mukwonago, Kettle Moraine and Edgewood.
Highlights of the match against Oconomowc would be Arrowhead’s goalie, AJ Scott, having a reported 70 percent save rate across the game. Also, defensive middie player Logan Crowley was a cornerstone on defense despite Oconomwoc’s strong offensive players.
“I really think we can work harder, and our defensive team can definitely lock in for the rest of the season,” Logan Crowley, junior, said.
Their next game will be Thursday, May 7, against Catholic Memorial at Catholic Memorial High School.
Overall, the team is set for a good start to the season, and we at Arrowhead have high hopes for them.
