One of the biggest sporting events just took place on Sunday, February 8. The Super Bowl was held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The New England Patriots played the Seattle Seahawks, and after four quarters and an extended halftime, the Seahawks took home the historic Lombardi trophy, beating them 29-13.
Before the game started, there were performances by Green Day, giving a pregame concert; Brandi Carlile singing “America The Beautiful;” Coco Jones singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing;” and Charlie Puth performing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
During halftime, Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny gave a special performance representing culture and history.
So whether you watch for the performances, ads, or the actual game, the event is a constant reminder why the Super Bowl is one of the biggest televised events in the world.
