Arrowhead Named Wisconsin Tech Ed High School Program of the Year

Wisconsin Technology Education Association awarded Arrowhead the WTEA High School Program of the Year Award.

“I think Arrowhead deserves it because it has a really nice technology department,” says senior Alaina Raddatz.

The WTEA is an association that supports the use of technology in education.

According to the WTEA website, “The WTEA provides professional development for classroom instructors and proactive leadership in advocating the advancement of technology education by promoting relevant curriculum, communicating information, and networking with leaders in education, business, and industry.”

According to a letter by WTEA Awards Committee Chair Matthew J. Schultz, the award will be presented at the annual WTEA Awards Banquet on March 6th, 2024 at 7 p.m at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Anyone can attend the banquet.

According to the letter, “colleagues, administration, family, and friends are welcome to attend; additional banquet tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $32.00 each.”

A video featuring Arrowhead school will be shown at the banquet.

According to the letter, “the WTEA would like to have Peer Canvas visit you at your school for a day to shoot a video that will be edited and played at this year’s awards banquet. [Arrowhead] will be provided with the video after the banquet to be used as promotional material for your program”

Peer Canvas is a photography and videography company from Beloit Wisconsin.

According to the Peer Canvas website, “through photography, videography, and aerial photography and videography, we work with businesses and marketing departments to create compelling and engaging material.”
