Seniors Ready To Return To The Basketball Court

Arrowhead Varsity Boys Basketball is ready to kick the season off. There are six returning players Billy Hirschfield, Matt Calawarts, Jack Nate, Charlie Reuteman, Stephen Pralle, and Ricky Finco

The Warhawks lost seven seniors to graduation last year: Kenny Finco, Dom Toderello, D.J. Escimilla, Kyle Kearnen, Kevin Leroy, Branden Kim, and Jackson Abresch. The first game of the 2013 season is on the 22nd of November at 7:30 p.m at West Allis Central.

“I just can’t wait for the season to start. I get so pumped thinking about it,” says Pralle, a senior forward for the Warhawks.

“Also I cannot wait for team dinners this year. The food is always so good, and the team has such a fun time,” says Pralle.

“The seniors from last year did such a great job of making everyone apart of the team. They brought a spark to the team that you just can’t describe. The seniors this year will definitely have to step up this year,” says Reuteman, a senior guard for the Warhawks.

The Warhawks have goals to accomplish for the season.

“To have fun, play together as one, and be humble and we should have a great shot at going far this year,” says Reuteman.

Last year the team finished with 20 wins and five losses.

The Warhawks were eliminated to the 2012 and 2013 state champs the Germantown Warhawks 61 to 46 in the first Sectional basketball game in the playoffs. The Warhawks are willing to make a strong return next season.
