The graduating class of 2014 will have their senior party at Arrowhead High School on June 6, 2014 from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am. The school only supplies the venue for this party. It is put on solely by parents of the senior students.

The theme this year is Design Your Future and the theme was chosen by a senior girl this year.

An informational letter was sent out to all seniors about the party. In the letter it states that this is a school-sponsored event and gives students a night to celebrate their educational accomplishments.

One of the parents, Cheryl Hornik, is helping to put this event together. She says about 120 volunteers are needed for the creation and designing of this event. If you would like to volunteer, you can do so by contacting Jacki Leyden by phone at (262)-490-6227 or by email at [email protected]. Volunteers are needed for set up starting at 3 pm, assistance during the party, and clean up starting at 2 am.

Hornik says, “The cost to come is $45 and is determined by the amount of entertainment, food, decorations that we will be having this year.”

According to the AHS Senior Class Party Committee, “This year’s theme has been created to give our students a glimpse into the endless opportunities their futures can hold. Some students will go off to college, some students will join our Armed Forces, and some might dive right into the workforce, possibly working for a company you may own.”

A permission slip is needed in order to attend and this was mailed out to students already.

Entertainment for the party includes performances by Human Bloom and Second Time Around. There will also be ping pong tables, foosball tables, and pool tables along with 12 casino games, Guitar Hero, and Wii systems. A hypnotist will also make an appearance.

The types of food being served this year will be Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy Johns, Yo Ma Ma’s, tacos, pizza, G2, smoothies, soda, candy, and cookies.

Senior Renee Fisher says, “I’m excited for the party because I’ve heard it is a fun time and that a lot of free stuff is given away to everyone.”

Fisher says, “I plan on going because it’s like one last hoorah before everyone goes to college.”
