Students Seeking Letters of Rec Need to Use Senior Profile

The senior profile is a form used by students who want an Arrowhead teacher to write them a letter of recommendation.

Information and the online version of the senior profile can be found at the Arrowhead main website, in the counselor section in the college/career list.

According to Arrowheadschools.org, “Students should fill out a Senior Profile when asking for letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors and coaches for college admission and scholarships.”

This form asks for the student’s name, colleges students are considering, words that teacher/parents describe students as, and a short narrative about students’ experiences.

It also asks students what their interests are and what they enjoy doing and to reflect on themselves from past high school years.

Arrowhead recommends students request no more than two letters of recommendation from teachers, unless specifically required.

Colleges in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, and many more require letters of recommendation.

Senior Rey Rushing says, “It took me about an hour to fill mine out.”
