Class Changes for Arrowhead Students

Second semester started this week on Wednesday. It was supposed to start on Monday the 27th, but due to the cold days that occurred it pushed it back until Wednesday the 29th.

“I like my classes, but I don’t have any of my friends in a lot of them,” said senior Matt Keranen, a student at Arrowhead High School.

“I love all my classes. A lot of my teachers seem really nice and the work load is down to a minimum in a lot of them,” said Arrowhead senior Abby Bierman.

Students are allowed five schools days to drop and pick up, or add a class. Some students decide to switch classes if they don’t like the class they are in, or if want an easier or harder class to take.

“AP Stats is a class that I need to drop. It’s too hard,” said Bierman.

“The classes that I am in I don’t want to drop, I feel like I can get a 3.0 GPA,” said Keranen.

Final exams will be the first week of June due to graduation for seniors and for underclassmen they will be the 11th, 12th, 13th of June.

This is the last semester that seniors will be at Arrowhead High School. Graduation is June 7th at 7:30 p.m. which is a Saturday.

“I am ready to leave. I’m so excited to see what the next couple of years bring for me,” said Bierman.
