How football players feel after their season

The Arrowhead football team had a very successful season this year with five home games and four away games. They won five out of eight games in the season and made it to the playoffs. The boys won the first round against Mukwonago.

Coach Gonring says, “My favorite part of this varsity season was when we fought back and beat Muk for the first time in two years.”

Mukwonago normally beats us by a lot each year. This year the team turned that around. The score was 31-28.

On the 27th of October 2023, the team played Sussex Hamilton for the second round. The boys ended up losing by only two points.

Sophomore Santonio Martin says, “Being a sophomore on varsity was super fun this year. I love playing with Arrowhead. When I get on the field I feel that no one can stop me and that is all thanks to Coach Clarks constant motivation. He believed in me all season and in every single play. We played hard and will make sure to get Hamilton next season.”

The next football season starts in August 2024.
