The end of the regular season for the Arrowhead Boys varsity basketball team is rapidly approaching. There is one more regular season game February 20 at Waukesha North at 7:30 p.m.

The week of the 23rd starts the 2014 WIAA boy’s basketball playoffs. The Warhawks earned a 4 seed in their bracket for southeastern Wisconsin teams.

Other teams in their bracket are Germantown, Sussex, Homestead, Kettle Moraine, Menomonee Falls, Waukesha West, and Waukesha South.

“The one thing I am going to miss after the season is over is going to the team get together after the games. It’s always a lot of fun,” says Finco.

The Arrowhead Warhawks first playoff game will be next week on Friday the 28th. This game will be against the Waukesha West Wolverines at Arrowhead at 7:30 p.m.

“They are a good team. As long as we stay together execute our plays and play a solid defensive game we should be just fine,” says Hirschfield.

Arrowhead and West split this season 1-1 with a loss and a win each. The first game played favored West 56-46. The second game Arrowhead won 52-48.

“This should be a good game we are rivals in the Classic Eight Conference,” said Hirschfield

“I hope it’s a big crowd. I love playing in big crowd atmospheres,” Said Finco.
