How Arrowhead Students Spend Their Time Outside of School

Students at Arrowhead engage in a wide variety of out of school activities, as well as extracurricular activities put on by the school.  While some are heavily into athletics, other enjoy clubs or other activities.   Some people prefer spending time with friends and family.

Arrowhead’s motto is “Something for Everyone.” This holds true, as they offer over 30 clubs and activities, as well as 29 sports for students.  The large number of extracurricular activities allows students to participate in a variety of interests.  Last year, 1,325 students participated in club extracurricular activities while 1,402 participated in athletic extracurricular activities.

Senior Sami Taylor says, “I’ve played basketball, volleyball, field hockey, and softball.  Also I’ve participated in many clubs including earth and Spanish club.”

Diversity is common among Arrowhead students, as many participate in multiple athletics and clubs.

“There is wide variety of activities at Arrowhead.  I’ve made lifelong friends and gotten really close with people over the years.  Sports and clubs have taught me respect, discipline, and the great feeling of achievement,” says Taylor.

Outside of extracurricular activities, many Arrowhead students work, spend time with friends and family and like to relax and watch Netflix.

Senior Alec Harmeyer says, “Outside of school, when I’m not working, I like to play sports, play video games, and hang with friends and family.”
