On Friday, December 5, Arrowhead Student Senate hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross. One pint of blood, the typical amount taken during a drive, can save up to three lives, making this drive a success.
“The blood drive is one of my favorite student senate events to work,” Alicia Payne, junior, said. “It is such a fun event to work and so amazing to see all of the generous students and community members giving blood.”
“The blood drive was once again a great success,” Will Hoffman, senior, said. “We were able to complete 83 donations thanks to various community members and students. We are also super grateful for all of the support from local businesses, who generously donated gifts for our donors.”
It was great to see both the community and students coming together to help an extremely important cause around the holidays.
