The wait is finally over for Stranger Things fans as the long-awaited season five of the show has finally been released. It has been three years since season four concluded, which left many fans eagerly awaiting what comes next. This season is dropping in three parts. Part one, which contains the first four episodes of the season, has already dropped on November 26th. Part two, which is going to drop on Christmas and contains episodes 5-7 and the finale, which is dropping on New Year’s Day,contains episode eight!
Overall, the fan reception to this season has been great despite the time gap between seasons. It is rare for a show to retain its audience after losing such a huge gap in time. Stranger Things season five is intended to be the final season in the series. But the Duffer brothers said they weren’t against making a spin-off series or making other projects with Netflix in the future.
