DECA Hosts Fiesta Night At An AHS Basketball Game

On Thursday, December 19, Arrowhead‘s DECA club is holding Fiesta Night. This will be an event at both the boys and girls basketball games. Both AHS basketball teams will be playing the Waukesha Northstars.

During Fiesta Night, there will be food and activities all. The first 225 fans to attend the girls basketball game will receive a free Fiesta Night T-Shirts. Also free Culvers frozen custard coupons will be given to the first 100+ fans. For the boy’s game, there will be a free sombrero to the first 200 fans.

The Arrowhead boy’s basketball team is 3-2. One of the losses came to Mukwonago on a buzzer beater to give the Warhawks there second loss of the season. Before Thursday’s big game the boys will take on the Waukesha West Wolverines at Waukesha West High School Tuesday, December 17th.

The girl’s basketball team is a 4-1, also with a loss to Mukwonago.  The girls will also have a game before Fiesta Night on Tuesday, December 17th against the Waukesha West Wolverines at Arrowhead’s North Campus East Gym.

Senior Brian Eineke said, “I will be attending Fiesta Night but, what is it really? I haven’t heard enough about it…I believe Arrowhead boy’s and girl’s teams will both win. North has a great basketball program but I think AHS will win…I will be attending both games.”

Junior Ben Saeger said, “What is Fiesta Night? This is my first time hearing about it…I think it is a good idea to have both games on one night. It will bring more people to both games for a better atmosphere for all players…I believe AHS will win both programs are solid. It will be a good game…I will only be attending the boy’s basketball game because I have an intramural game.”
