Student Senate Community Blood Drive

On Wednesday, December 30th the Student Senate is putting on a blood drive which is sponsored by the Blood Center of Wisconsin. It will be held at the Hartland Village Hall Community Room on Cottonwood Avenue.

This year, the drive will not be held at Arrowhead rather it will be at the Hartland Village Hall Community Room on Cottonwood Avenue. According to an email sent out by Tamara Varsos, to staff members, “While we could not host our annual blood drive at school, our students wanted to make sure that we still helped blood banks…”

This opportunity is a chance to give back this holiday season by donating blood that will help blood banks that are in need of donations.

The blood drive will be during the holiday break on Wednsday, December 30th and will start at two in the afternoon and go to seven that evening.

In an email sent out to staff by Arrowhead teacher, Tamara Varsos included details about the upcoming blood drive.

A feature in this year’s blood drive is that when someones have a successful donation, you will get a free Covid Antibody test with each donation. Also, all attempting donors will get a $10 E-giftcard by entering a valid email address.

If you are interested in donating, you can register by calling 877-BE-A-HERO or by going online to bit.ly/ahsdec2020.
