American Red Cross Blood Drive Comes to Arrowhead High School

The American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place at Arrowhead High School on Thursday May 20, 2014. It will be in the North Campus West Gym from 8:30AM to 1:15PM.

Mark Johnson, a special education teacher at Arrowhead High School, said, “Our goal is to get at least 200 donors.”

Student senate has been hosted the drive twice a year for many years, says Johnson.

The student senate is run by Megan Lipke, a senior at Arrowhead High School. And she will be working the event.

Johnson said, “There will be about 15 students working the event and and the American Red Cross will probably supply 30 workers as well.”

Johnson also said, “In the fall the blood is for The Blood Center of Wisconsin and in the spring it is for the American Red Cross.”

“This year we are expecting 180-200 donors,” says Johnson.
