Many teenagers these days claim they are in love. I think it is a personal feeling that may not be explicable to others. Love in the dictionary is defined as a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. Many teenagers will describe love differently but that may be because there are different kinds. There are the kinds of love that a friend might share with their pet or best friend and there is also the type of love that is shared between a boyfriend and a girlfriend.

The love shared between two best friends is something that is like they look out for eachother. It’s more important to have a best friend in high school, than a significant other, I think. It’s important to have a best friend. Most relationships, I think, don’t last past high school so it can be a waste of time. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend can also cause drama between girl groups or groups of friends. Extra drama definitely doesn’t need to be added. Best friends don’t get old and they are always there for you. Best friend’s can last a lifetime.
