Prom is rapidly approaching. In three weeks, on Saturday, April 12th at Country Springs Hotel, AHS will hold this year’s prom. Tickets are $70 and sold online, but the week of prom ticket prices will be raised to $80 apiece. Students can purchase tickets at this site: https://arrowhead.revtrak.net/tek9.asp

The theme for prom this year is Swingin Soiree from The Great Gatsby.

“I’m so excited for prom this year. It’s my last year of high school and it’s my last prom ever,” says Lauren Peterson, senior at Arrowhead High School.

Students are getting their groups together so they can get their tables set for prom. At this year’s prom, table seats must be reserved with Trina Bower, the student senate adviser. To reserve a table, you would need to go to her room after school at North Campus and let her know your group.

“Pictures are my favorite part. I just like them a lot,” says Meg Gaynor a senior at Arrowhead High School.

Empire Photography will be doing pictures at prom this year.

The doors open at Country Springs at 6:15 p.m and will close at 12 p.m. Attendees need an Arrowhead Student ID to get into Prom.

“I hope the food is good this year because last year it wasn’t as good as I thought it would have been,” said Peterson.

The food this year will be three different choices of food: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roast Prime Rib of beef, or Lasagna Vegetarian. You choose your option when you order your ticket. Dinner will start at 7 p.m. and goes to 8:30 p.m.

For dessert, there is a chocolate and white chocolate fountain with fruits, candies, and marshmallows to dip in the fountains.
