The Walking Dead is a horror drama released on October 31^st, 2010.  The TV series is based off of the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The storyline takes place in a zombie infested America.

The show is a never ending horror movie, and each episode leaves you wondering about the characters fate.  The Walking Dead can be viewed on the AMC network every Sunday night at eight.

In the first season the first few episodes, you go on a journey with the lead character Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, as he searches for his wife and son. What Rick see’s and knows, you see and know. After waking up from a coma, Rick wakes to a world full of flesh eating zombies, but is determined to find out the fate of his wife Lori and son Carl.

In this world of walkers, the walkers are attracted to sound and light, so those are off limit to the character.  The only way to kill a walker is a direct shot or a stab to the head. Once a character is bitten, they turn to a walker

In The Walking Dead, you get to meet interesting people each with their own story of survival. Rick Grimes gets shot on the job, and wakes up to an abandoned town with no one. Lori Grimes, played by Sarah Wayne Callies, managed to find a group of survivors with her son Carl played by Chandler Riggs.  Daryl Dixon played by Norman Reedus and his brother Merle is a pair of kick ass rednecks (didn’t know how else to put it). Glenn Rhee played by Steven Yeun is a smart, caring guy who has gone through a lot with the group. Michonne played by Danai Gurira is a mysterious and has a way with her sword.

Sadly like the season’s come and go so do the characters.  You never know who will be next victim of a walker.
