Seonbuchner Proves Right Fit For Cyclones
Arrowhead Senior Sam Seonbuchner plays for the Arrowhead varsity football team. According to www.rivals.com which is a recruiting website for elite players in the country, Seonbuchner ranks as a three star outside linebacker out of five stars.
Seonbuchner has collegiate offers for football and he says he wants to play football in college.
“I wanted to follow my brother’s footsteps and that got me think about playing colleges football,” said Seonbuncher.
His brother played from 2007 to 2010. Seonbuchner has six scholoarships offers to play in college from the following college: North Dakota State, Bowling Green, Ball State, Ohio, Pittsburgh, and Iowa State.
Ball State and Blowing Green were his first two offers. Then, Iowa State was his third.
“It was crazy when Iowa State called me and offered me a full ride because it was the first time they ever talked to me,” said Seonbuchner.
Seonbuchner made his commitment to the Iowa State Cyclones just before the 2013, 2014 season started. But he can still decommit if he wants to.
“Iowa State just felt like home to me. When I was hanging with their teammates it felt like they were a part of my family also the coach are outstanding and really funny,” says Seonbuchner.
“It felt great commiting to knowing that my education will be paid for as well. It takes a lot of stress off of me,” says Seonbuchner.
In February, is where Seonbuchner will sign his letter of intent to play football for the Iowa State Cyclones next fall.
“I can’t wait to play for them the college atmosphere and hanging with the teammates in the locker room will be unbelievable,” says Seonbuchner.
He decided to play there in August before the 2013 2014 Arrowhead football season.
