Students plans for Valentine’s day

Valentine’s day annually occurs on February 14th and the students of AHS had plans or none at all.

Freshman Kelcy Gilbertson and El Galster had no special Valentine’s day plans.

Gilberston says, “I am probably going to hit the gym and then just hang out with my friends.”

Galster says that she cannot hang out with her Valentine’s date because he is across the country therefore has no plans.

Other AHS students on the other hand did have plans.

Freshman Veronica Pauken says that she does in fact have plans and it was with her boyfriend, “we are probably going to go to the mall and then hang out.”

If students do not have any Valentine’s day plans there were special deals going on with restaurants.

Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Doughnuts brought back the heart shaped doughnuts while papa johns, pizza hut, and jets pizza brought back their heart shaped pizzas.

Chick-Fil-A through monday was serving their 30-count nuggets, ten count Chick-n-minis, six chocolate chip cookies, and their 12 chocolate fudge brownies in heart shaped containers.

Along with the heart shaped food there are many deals that restaurants are giving such as Moe’s southwest grill selling burritos for $5.99 plus free chips and salsa.

Einstein Bros. Bagels also had a special with a valentines brunch box for $20 that includes a breakfast spread for two.
