American Horror Story: A Thriller That Will Make You Cringe
American Horror Story is a horror television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. American Horror Story is an FX original series and an anthology series. AHS takes place in fictionalized haunted locations where the living and the dead interact. The show is aired at 9/8 central on Thursdays on television.
Each season has its own self-contained storyline. Each season will introduce a new location as well as new characters and storylines.
Premiering in October 2011, the first season focused on a struggling family of three who moved into a new house in LA. Each of them soon learns the house’s secrets. There are a total of 12 episodes.
The second season premiered on October 17, 2012 and ended on January 23, 2013.
Arrowhead sophomore Morgan Gintert, an American Horror Story fanatic, says, “I love AHS so much and I love how many surprises there are and the thrill of it.”
“I started watching this show because I saw a tweet about it and thought it was interesting and I’m glad I tried it out,” says Gintert.
The pilot episode had 3.2 million viewers. These were the best numbers FX had ever received for a series premiere. The episode was viewed in 59 countries.Ratings increased as the season progressed, with the season finale being watched by 3.22 million viewers.
Gintert says, “Anyone who enjoys a thriller and is ready for a scare should watch this show.
The third season, American Horror Story: Coven, premiered October 9, 2013 and ended January 29th, 2014 with a total of 13 episodes. American Horror Story has won 20 of its 96 award nominations, four of which are pending.
