Frozen Ranks as My Favorite Animated Movie

One movie of 2013 I enjoyed was Frozen. It was a funny, family friendly movie for all ages to enjoy. For a children’s movie, it had a great message and was enjoyable to watch.  It was one of the best animated movies I’ve seen.  It was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. It was written by Jennifer Lee (screenplay) and Hans Christian Andersen (story).

The movie made $67,391,326 when it was released on its opening weekend, November 29, 2013. Overall, it made $301,501,543 in profits.

The soundtrack played throughout the movie is called Frozen Heart.  The music is by Robert Lopez and lyrics are by Kristen Andersen-Lopez.  The soundtrack consists of 11 songs sung throughout the movie by the cast of Frozen.

The story line is this: Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and his reindeer, set out on a journey to find Elsa (Idina Menzel) after she froze the whole kingdom with her powers. The ice has trapped everyone in the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter. In order to end the winter, someone must receive a truelove’s kiss.

In my opinion, this movie was the best animated movie of 2013 due to the fact that it was enjoyable to watch, had many humorous moments, and had an amazing soundtrack.  The storyline was also very good and kept me entertained and interested the whole time.  Overall, I thought Frozen was a great movie that’d I’d definitely recommend seeing. Another thing that stuck out to me in the movie was all of the great effects.  The pictures shown and all of the animation was phenomenal.

If you haven’t already seen Frozen, I recommend seeing it because it has a lot to

offer for all ages and a great lesson is taught.
