People Talk About National Opposite Day

Most experts agree that Opposite Day is observed on January 25. But other experts claim its celebrated on January 7th. Still others believe that it is to be celebrated on every month of the year on the 25th day.

 

Opposite day is celebrated on January 25. For those who are into the concept of different timelines, Opposite Day is the closest we can get, giving us a tiny glimpse of what the world will be like if the opposite of everything happened.

 

One of the truest pop-culture moments in opposite history has been the George Costanza method of “doing the opposite”. George, realizing his life has gone nowhere, decides to do the opposite of whatever he would typically be doing in any situation. The end result is that George suddenly becomes an active, sincere and honest person. 

 

Nolan Klingele, a Arrowhead High School Freshman says “I would wear pajamas on opposite day because then I would have an excuse to be comfortable.” 

 

Some traditions that you could do for national opposite day is, compliment somebody and then tell them it’s opposite day. This is a pretty basic one but a strong tradition in opposite day culture is to declare loudly to anyone within earshot that it is opposite day.
