What Arrowhead Seniors Are Most Excited For in 2023

With less than three weeks left of 2022, Arrowhead seniors say they are curious to see what awaits them in 2023.

Mady Scholzen, one of Arrowhead’s varsity volleyball players, says she is excited to coach a younger club team. “I’m most excited about being able to coach my team at volleyball tournaments. They’re in eighth grade. I’m also really excited for summer,” she says.

Francesca Smith, a varsity swimmer for Arrowhead, says “I am most excited for graduation, leaving Wisconsin, and swimming in college.”

Smith will be attending the University of Missouri and competing for the Swim and Dive team.

“This year I’m most excited about going to college, playing basketball, and the summer,” says Bella Samz.

Samz will also be attending college for a sport, but not swimming. She will be playing basketball and she is thrilled for her first college season to come.

Smith and Samz are not the only ones excited about graduation and college–Olivia Schmidt, Reagan Russ, and Trinity Dahl are too.

“I’m excited to turn eighteen, graduate, and just start a new year overall,” says Schmidt.

All girls are planning to start their first college semesters this coming fall.
