Meet Senior Junny Hernandez

Junny Hernandez is a senior at Arrowhead. 

 

Hernandez is President of Spanish Honors Society, tutoring coordinator of National Honors Society, Rho Kappa member, and HOSA member. He volunteers at Lake Country Caring as a Spanish translator and works as a certified nursing assistant at Froedtert. 

 

The most stressful time of the year for him, he says, is AP exam week. AP exams will take place this year May second through May thirteenth. He is currently in two AP’s, AP Macroeconomics and AP Calculus BC. In previous years, he has taken AP Human Geography, AP Spanish, AP Statistics, AP Government and Politics, AP Chemistry, and AP Language and Composition.

 

“He is very passionate,” said senior Jacie O’Shea. 

 

He says his favorite part of being involved is making a difference and preparing for college. His top choice is the University of Southern California His schedule often conflicts, to work around this he talks to his supervisors about club meeting times, he also has a calendar to stay organized. He holds Spanish Honors Society as his largest priority. 

 

“Spanish Honors Society is a good opportunity to expand the knowledge of the hispanic culture,” said Hernandez. 

 

He describes himself as independent, studious, and passionate.
