Arrowhead Boys Volleyball Goes to State

Varsity boys volleyball has made it to State WIAA Division I quarterfinals this Thursday, November 3 at 10:00 AM at the Resch Center in Green Bay. They will have the chance to continue to the semi-finals on Friday, November 4 at 5:00 PM if they win on Thursday. 

 

The Resch Center doors will open an hour before each game. Tickets are available online for $11.00 each day. 

 

Arrowhead buses are available only on Thursday for $15.00. Bus tickets will be on sale Tuesday, November 1 from 7:20 AM to 3:00 PM in the South Campus main office. For north campus, tickets will be available through Wednesday 7:15 AM to 12:00 PM or if buses are full. 

 

The buses will leave North Campus by 7:20 AM. There must be a minimum of 30 riders for the bus to be available. 

 

The boys will be playing Union Grove on Thursday. Union Grove is a school in Racine County. 

 

“I’m pretty pumped,” said senior Chas Bilek. 

 

The starters for Thursday’s game will be seniors Bennet Adams, Bennett Wentzel, Logan Bularz, Chas Bilek, and juniors Charlie Andorfer and Ethan Hein. 

 

27 out of 30 seniors and 21 out of 30 juniors said they would be attending the game on Thursday. 

 

The other boys volleyball teams that made it to state are Marquette, Franklin, Catholic Memorial, Middleton, Wauwatosa East, and Appleton North. 

 

Marquette is currently ranked number one, Arrowhead is number two. Union Grove is number seven. 

 

“Really confident and I think we have a good shot to win it all,” said Wentzel.
