Teachers Post Info Outside Classroom Doors

Teachers+Post+Info+Outside+Classroom+Doors

Documents posted on the walls outside of each teacher’s classroom at Arrowhead were new to the school in the 2021/2022 school year.

These documents show when the teachers have free periods and other information to help students get to know the teachers.  Some of them say where the teachers went to college, what their favorite things are and other information about them.

One of the posters, for teacher Anthony Christian in the technical education department, lists his favorites.  His favorite place is Door County, Wisconsin.  His poster also shows where he completed his education: University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Waukesha County Technical College, and Cardinal Stritch University.

Technical education teachers, Jeremy Schlitt and Jeff Luetschwager have posters that show their daily schedule, so students can find exactly where they are and when they have free periods.  These posters also include short biographies and favorites of Schlitt and Luetschwager.

Ciara Ruppenthal, a senior at Arrowhead High School, said, the signs make it easier for her to find a teacher “because then I know where to look for them.” Ruppenthal also said these signs could be beneficial to new students who don’t know the teachers as well as returning students.

This school year, having 6 or more foreign exchange students, these posters have the ability to help with language barriers.
