Prom 2022 is approaching, and with that comes prom dress shopping, hair appointments, flowers, and more. 

An email was sent out by Associate Principal Becky Gordon highlighting some important Prom information. This year Arrowhead’s Prom is May 14th at the Ingleside Hotel, and the prom theme is Starry Night.  

Senior Anna Tweeden says she is very excited for her senior prom, and said one of her favorite parts of preparation is picking out the perfect dress. This year Tweeden says she got her dress from Dressed in Time located in Brookfield. 

Students have also purchased prom dresses at Von Maur in Brookfield (10am – 9pm), Dressed in Time in Brookfield (10am-4pm), Savvy Seconds Boutique in New Berlin (11am-7pm), David’s Bridal in Brookfield (10:30am-9pm), and Windsor Brookfield Square Mall (12pm-8pm).

Along with the dress, shoes are also necessary. Some of the most popular places for dress shoes or heels are Von Maur in Brookfield (10am-9pm), DSW in Brookfield (10am-9pm), and a popular online option is Amazon online. 

Ordering the right flowers is a part of prom preparation including bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. There are a number of flower shops in the area that will help to make what you need for prom. The Flower Garden in Hartland (9am-5:30pm), Evant Garden Florist in Delafield (9am-5pm), Gregory and Company Galleria in Brookfield (9am-6pm), Wild Petals Floral in Merton (9am-5pm), Twin Flowers and Home Decor in New Berlin (9am-5:30pm).

Senior Cara Wellentin says she wants to go all out for her senior prom, and with that she is getting her hair professionally done. She is going to her hair salon in Lake Mills called CV Hair Company (9am-5pm). Closer options include, Lake Country Hair in Hartland (9am-5pm), Lumos Salon in Hartland (8am-4pm), Off Broadway Salon in Brookfield (9am- 5pm), Dry Bar in Milwaukee (7am-10pm).
