Sophomore’s Alena Cushman and Jordyn Hazelwood said their favorite trends of the year was the comeback of mom jeans. 

The social media platform Tik Tok is responsible for countless fashion trends, according to Glam.com. The top five Tik Tok fashion trends in 2021 were mom jeans, oversized blazers, Meg Ryan (an American Actress) inspired outfits, shackets (shirt- jackets), and chunky hoop earrings. 

Along with having successful trends in 2021, Tik Tok also was responsible for a lot of fashion controversy. According to fashion Tik Toker, @flud_fashion, the top three worst fashion trends of 2021 were neon, wide suits and swim briefs. 

Hazelwood says, “my least favorite trend was flair leggings.”
