On October 11th, an email was sent to students and families by Assistant to the Activities Director Liz Arsnow regarding Arrowhead high school winter sports registration. 

There is an attached file in the email where students can find dates and times to their specific sport. Winter sports are starting mind-November and wrestling meetings start this week.

The winter sports this year are Alpine Ski team Boys and Girls, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Swim, Wrestling, and Girls Gymnastics. 

Arsnow says, “Please register early so that your athlete will be cleared to participate the first day.  Registration is required, even if you played in the sport last year.”

In the attached file in the email it says an Athletic Physical Green Card  is required to participate in the sport. This needs to be filled out every two years. This is found at the South Campus Main Office or North Campus Activities Office. This can only be found during school hours.

There is an athletic fee of $178. This needs to be done online or by check prior to the first day of the sport. If the sport is a cut sport then the fee is required upon making the team. 

There is an Annual Athletic Permission form, concussion form, and WIAA athletic form that needs to be completed all online. Students can fill out the forms by going to Skyward Family Access and online forms on the left side of the page. This needs to be done online, not printed. 

Senior Jenna Zeller says, “I’m excited to be the Basketball manager this year. I think this year is going to be a great season.” I’m excited to be around my friends for one last year and help them succeed.”
