Bailey Boche Plans On Attending Carroll University

Bailey Boche is a senior at Arrowhead High School who plans on attending Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to major in business in the fall.

Boche did not originally plan on going to Carroll University, although she did want to stay close to home. She applied to eight schools in Wisconsin. The other seven schools Boche applied to are the University of Milwaukee, Concordia University, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Waukesha County Technical College, Marquette University, and the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

“I chose Carroll because I wanted to be close to home and when I went to tour the school it was a really comfortable atmosphere and everybody there had excellent things to say about all the support people give you and the welcoming experience,” said Boche.

Boche will be living at home since the campus is 20 minutes away from her house. She hopes to graduate with a business degree, so that she can have her own clothing boutique.

Boche said, “My biggest fear is giving myself too much workload, and thinking I can complete it and maybe things won’t go as planned.”

In addition to that, Boche said she is nervous about the new experience. In addition, she said she is nervous since she does not know anyone going to Carroll University. She is hopeful that other students will be going through the same experience.
