ASF Honors Teachers

On May 4th, 2021, the Arrowhead Scholarship Foundation (ASF) released a video to honor teachers at Arrowhead.

The video is currently public for anyone to see and can be found on the ASF YouTube page or can be found using this link. In the video, it shows lots of pictures and memories from throughout the year and thanking everyone involved for making the year successful.

Abbie Holland, the ASF president says, “Every teacher, coach, and staff member at AHS!  We are so thankful for every one of them!”

The video itself was created by Arrowhead English teacher, Ryan Andrews, after the ASF board was brainstorming and came up with the idea.

Holland says, “This is the first time we have done anything like this.  The idea came up when we were developing videos for our first virtual trivia night and auction.  I would love to do something like this again in the future.”

The ASF was a foundation created to award scholarships to deserving students who have made efforts to better themselves both academically, athletically and outside of school. Students apply for the scholarships through writing essays, getting letters of recommendations and filling out applications which are reviewed by the board. The scholarships are then awarded on the designated award night.
