AHS Seeks Funds in Art Department Digital fundraiser

During November 2020, the AHS Art Department Digital Design fundraiser was created.

Cara Glatkowski, an AHS art teacher, created the AHS Art Department Digital fundraiser because she wanted to create additional learning opportunities.

Glakowski said, “The digital technology would not just impact one class, but could be woven into many different courses impacting many different learners.”

The digital technology that would be purchased is video and animation technology.

Sherry Moseler, an AHS art teacher manages the AHS Art Department Digital fundraiser.

The goals of this fundraiser are to incorporate technology into different courses.

Art classes will get digital art and design added and this fundraiser can be found on one presentation about this fundraiser called Why Digital.

During December 2020, the AHS Art Department Digital fundraiser opened for this year. The AHS Art Department Digital fundraiser is about using new technology to create 2D and 3D images such as sketches.

Glatkowski said, “We are excited with the relevant learning opportunities we could bring to the students and want to start developing this robust program using industry standards.”
