On July 1st, Culver’s changed it’s close time from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM in honor of the beginning of summer. This allows families, and friends to stay for an extra hour, and everything is accessible. The drive through, in-house, kitchen, and custard are all available from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Culver’s will remain open until 11:00 PM until September 1st, in honor of school starting again.

Local restaurant, Culver’s, is a common place to go when it comes to after-game meals for Arrowhead students. After a majority of the sporting or schooling events, teams and spectators come to Culver’s after the game to enjoy custard and burgers.

This past weekend, after the Arrowhead graduation, Culver’s was full of Arrowhead families. The line was out of the door.

“Yeah, we’ve had our line outside for the past hour, and it doesn’t look like it’s getting shorter,” says Jon Howe, the General Manager at Culver’s. “Whether it’s a sporting event, a graduation, or just a friendly get-together Culver’s is always a viable choice.”

According to the “Our Story” article on Culver’s, “Culver’s has been an industry since 1984, when Craig and Lea Culver opened the first Culver’s in Sauk City, Wisconsin.”

Many Arrowhead students work at Culver’s, including Derek Luedtke, a sophomore, Jamison Ashby, a junior, and Devin Kritner, a junior.

“I like working there, I mean, it’s fun, and the managers are sweet,” says Luedtke. “I’ve been working [at Culver’s] for almost a year now.”

“My parents don’t let me close during the summer because they don’t want me out that late every night I work,” says Kritner.
Culver’s has been connected to Arrowhead in many ways throughout the past years, including stations of Culver’s custard at Arrowhead football games, HawkFest, and other events.
