Rap Artist Juicy J takes on Milwaukee

On October 23rd, 2015, rap artist Juicy J performed at concert venue the Rave in Milwaukee, WI. To celebrate Halloween cheer, the Rave dubbed this concert the “Zombie Crawl,” and encouraged attendees to dress up in spooky costumes.

Nina DeQuardo, a junior at Arrowhead, says, “It was a really good show. I went with a decently sized group of my good friends and we all dressed up in our costumes. My costume included a masquerade mask.”

The Rave decorated the concert halls with spider webs, creepy props and a few spooky photo-ops where people could get their picture taken. Some workers dressed up in costume as well.

Nina Gagan, a former student of Arrowhead, says, “I think the Rave did a really nice job with decorating the place. I loved the masks and costumes the workers had on as well. It got me even more excited for Halloween which is definitely one of my favorite holidays throughout the year.”

Juicy J went on to perform crowd favorites such as; “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” “Bounce It,” “Scholarship,”  “Shell Shocked,” “Twerk,” “All I Need,” “Show Out,” “No Heart No Love,” and “You Can Get Murked,” amongst the other songs of his set.

Dequardo says, “I love the songs All I Need and No Heart No Love. When Bounce It came on my friends and I lost it.”
Gagan says, “I liked alot of the songs he played because they’re classics and everyone knows them but I really like his lesser known songs better. I still love seeing him in concert every time he comes around though.”
