Arrowhead’s Girls Track Grows
The Arrowhead girls track team has gone through a lot of changes this season. The team was put under new leadership with new head coach Kurt kaczoer. The girls track team has been victorious in many of their meets, so far winning two of the three conference meets. Winning one more will result in another triple crown for the team.
Cross country Coach Kaczor became the head coach for the girls track team this year. Coach Kaczor, previously trained the long distance girls on the track team. Coach Olshanski, last year’s sprint coach was recruited to work with the long distance girls. Coach Hayes, along with Coach Eaves, became the new head sprint coach for the season.
Claire Minor, a sophomore said, “Track is little different this year because we have new coaches who have different coaching styles. But I think we’ve all learned a lot from them this year that will which helped us during the season so far.”
In the Outsider Conference relay meet, Arrowhead took 1st place with 65.94 for varsity girls and 68.95 points for junior varsity. Arrowhead also won the Badger Invitational with 178 points during the outdoor season this year. The last conference meet will be at Mukwonago on the 15th of May.
Head coach Kurt Kaczor said, “Arrowhead girls track team has won the Triple Crown title in the past, which is something not a lot of other schools have done.”
