What Does Your Garbage Man Mean to You?

In order to run a society, waste management is essential. Think about this: without waste management, our streets would be full of litter.  We would have cars dodging cans on the highway; walkers avoiding gum on the streets; and pets eating things that can poison or harm them.

We live in a society where going green is encouraged, yet not many people help keep the planet clean. To promote this, people create different activities and clubs to help keep the earth clean and communities safe.

There are many paper and plastic products sold in stores people buy to save time. For example, instead of washing reusable towels, people buy paper towels which eventually end up in the environment. All of that paper must go somewhere to be recycled or decomposed.  Without the garbage men, garbage would pile up, leaving behind more and more to be picked up.

The garbage man is the one to thank for picking up after people and allowing us to live in a clean environment.

Many people would prefer not to take the time out of their day to take their garbage to the dump. Being that garbage men take their time to go to each house and collect the garbage, it really something to appreciate.

I don’t know any garbage men because I’ve never really taken the time to get to know one. If I ever met one, I’d be sure to thank them for all of the hard work they do to keep the planet clean. I’d encourage everyone to take the time to meet and/or thank your garbage man, hence all of the work they do.

I personally would never want to be a garbage man due to the fact that they handle a lot of vulgar items, objects, and smells, yet it would be a great thing to do if I were looking to help the environment. Therefore, this would be a great job for someone who either doesn’t mind or likes doing these things.

I would encourage people to become garbage men because it’s a job that helps. They help to keep communities clean and safe for people to live. Garbage men make an average annual salary of about $34,420.

The garbage men ensure that the garbage gets where it belongs: in the garbage dump. They also take time to collect the trash so that communities can be clean and safe for each citizen.
