A Clean World Starts Now

Everyone can agree that keeping our environment clean is essential, and what could be a better way than recycling? Knowing that Americans produce 4.4 pounds of waste every day and by recycling, it will reduce the amount of waste going in landfills.

According to www.allrecycling –facts.com, “In the 1940s and 1950s, when land filling became a cheap way to dispose trash, recycling was less popular.”

According to, www.beginwiththebin.org/greenpointaverage,  “…Innovating technology that protects the environment, creating clean renewable energy from solid waste, even during the good and bad they are there protecting the environment and public health.”

Innovative technology that will help our environment for years to come, is just the start to what can be done, but many people don’t realize that recycling companies can’t do it all by themselves and the companies know that!

According to www.beginwiththebin.org/greenpointaverage “…there is a program that honors those who go above the call of duty in waste and recycling industry.  The EIA community change makers is the Environmental Industries Associations national community service recognition program. Through it, they recognize and honor those companies and individuals involved.”

There are just so many reasons for us to recycle and now people can be rewarded for doing so. You can tell where we are going in society with the increase in recycling, but I think everyone wishes it could be easier.

According to www.beginwiththebin.org/greenpointaverage, “Collection Innovations include curbside pickup programs, single-stream recycling, and more fuel-efficient collection vehicles. There is also sorting innovations like state-of-art-MRF’s, sorting technologies, screens, optical scanners, and Eddy currents.”

Knowing all the ways recycling has changed, it’s really amazing to see where we’ve came and what it could be like in 2050. You might be thinking cars flying, traveling in time, and maybe even finding a new world. That could be a dream in the past because we are losing resources everyday because of all the products we waste. That might not be a problem with the programs out for recycling and even new technology coming out to make it even easier.

We have drones, self driven helicopters that drop off shipments to your front door, and with all of things you could only imagine what recycling is going to look like. In 2050 there will be no need for humans to be picking up the garbage anymore. Self driven vehicles have to come soon and robots are already in the making.

Time is moving fast, but with 37 more years to go there is a lot to be done. Just in 13 years we all have witnessed huge computers go to smart phones and tablets not to mention our cars telling us if it’s safe while switching lanes.

2050 is going to be crazy with technology, but there is no telling where this is really going to take us until we reach a time with a clean world.
