Over the past two years, I have been a frequent customer at Birch and Banyan Coffee. Located in Hartland on Capitol Drive, it is the best spot to grab a cup of coffee, a bite to eat and meet up with friends.
Birch and Banyan offers a variety of drinks. There are basic drinks such as cold brew, Americano, latte and espresso. Additional favorites include the Aloha Mocha with white chocolate and macadamia nut, the Honey Bee with honey and vanilla, along with my personal favorite, the Maple Morning Bun with maple syrup and brown sugar.
The coffee shop also serves hot chocolate, tea, smoothies and refreshers. There are also Coco Blue, Pineapple Passion and Dragon Berry Lotus Shots; drinks which give customers a boost of caffeine.
Birch and Banyan has a special drink for every month and season. September’s special was a S’mores Mocha, October’s a Caramel Bourbon Chai and November’s will be a Caramel Apple Mocha. This fall the specials are Caramel Spiced Cider, Pumpkin Pie Latte and Salted Caramel Mocha.
“I love it. Everybody should try the Iced White Chocolate Mocha; it is a 10/10,” Brynn Rogers, junior student at Arrowhead, said. “Hot take-its better than Starbucks.”
Birch and Banyan also offers a variety of food, with gluten free options available. They work with other WI businesses such as Sally’s Sweet Shoppe and Beer Snobs.
The popular coffee shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for its customers. All of the employees are positive and personable. There are also two conference rooms available for club meetings, study sessions, business meetings, etc.
There is no way to go wrong at Birch and Banyan. The variety offered gives customers a large selection of coffee and other drinks to choose from, and allergies are taken into consideration. There is something for everyone.
Going to Birch and Banyan is the best coffee shop option in the Hartland community
