On November 4, 2023, Arrowhead hosted a holiday craft fair fundraiser to support the Arrowhead girl’s gymnastics and hockey teams. The fair took place at south campus in the cafeteria, gym, and hallway leading to the cafeteria. The fair went from 9 am to 3 pm.
This is the third annual craft fair that Arrowhead has put on. The two years prior have been a fundraiser for the cheerleading team.
Some members from the girl’s gymnastic team at this event included seniors Hailee Paaske, Kylie Peterson, Adalia Fritsche, and junior Nettie McClutchy.
The holiday craft fair is an event where vendors and entrepreneurs can bring in their creations and other products to set up a booth and sell to potential customers.
“There were about fifty vendors at the fair,” says Peterson.
A lot of customers were Arrowhead students and families. Products available from different vendors were available to be purchased for various ages.
Due to being a fundraiser, athletes had to spend their time running it.
McClutchy says she did have a chance to buy anything from the vendors since she had to run it.
A lot of vendors come in to sell items related to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Paaske hopes that the team can participate in the fundraiser next year.
