Events Coming Up for Seniors
With only 14 school days at Arrowhead left for seniors (as of Friday, May 13th), there’s limited opportunities left for seniors to get involved before the school year is over.
Prom is on Saturday, May 14th (tomorrow). Prom is being held at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee. The theme for this year’s Prom is Starry Night. Prom begins at 6:15pm, and the dance ends at 11:00pm. Finally ticket sales were on April 28th.
Senior skip day is Monday, May 16th (the Monday after Prom). Senior skip day was organized by the school’s school spirit team, the Arrowhead gators. Senior skip day is a tradition where all seniors don’t show up to school on the same day. Senior skip day usually follows the week after AP exams. Senior skip day is solely planned by the senior class, and has no affiliation with Arrowhead.
The senior party is on Friday, June 3rd. The senior party is being held at North Campus. The party begins at 9:00pm, and ends at 1:30am. The senior party will include a hypnotist, casino games, raffle prizes, and inflatables, according to Arrowhead’s website. The flier for the party can be viewed here.
Senior Jamison Landmann says, “I’m most excited for the senior party, I think it will be so fun.”
Due to COVID in the last two previous years, Arrowhead offered graduates yard signs. This year the school is not providing them. According to the AHS advisor, if families are interested in a yard sign, they can be purchased through Michael Waterfield –[email protected]– who made the signs in the past.
Senior graduation is on Saturday, June 4th. The graduation ceremony begins at 7:30pm. The graduation takes place at the Arrowhead football stadium.
