Last Semester at Arrowhead for Seniors
Arrowhead seniors are approaching their last semester of high school with first semester exams occurring from January 19th through 21st, 2022. The second semester starts Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. The seniors have experienced four years as Warhawks with coming in as freshmen to a normal school year before COVID hit and leaving as seniors with a close to normal school year.
Ursula Rose, a senior at Arrowhead, is involved with Stage Crew and Drama at Arrowhead. She said that she learned a lot, met new friends, and made lots of memories during her four years as a Warhawk.
Rose said, “[The] seniors have been through a lot, but we have grown so much. I encourage us all to make this last semester our best!”
Cassidy Roche, a senior, is involved in school clubs and sports at Arrowhead including DECA and Student Senate. She says she has always shown her school spirit on spirit days and cheers on her peers at games.
Roche said that she is excited about her future and sad that her experience at Arrowhead is coming to a close.
Rose said something similar to what Roche said; she is sad to leave AHS and all of the people she has met and also is excited to graduate and further her education after high school.
Roche said, “…as my course load dwindles, I will finally be able to decompress from four years of hard work and be able to end this year off with a bang.”
According to the Arrowhead website, students need 50 credits to graduate. Those credits are earned from taking core classes and electives along with required classes that are taken to be able to graduate. Learn more about the requirements for seniors to graduate using this link.
Roche said, “Overall, Arrowhead has given me many opportunities to grow as a person and student, which is something that I will always be grateful for.”
