This year’s musical “Catch Me If You Can” is based on the movie with the same title released in 2002, staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. The musical first opened on Broadway in early 2011, and closed later that year. According to Musical Theater International, Catch Me If You Can is a “high-flying musical comedy about chasing your dreams and not getting caught.”
A Broadway Company sophomore, Kate Taylor says, “people should come see Catch Me If You Can because it is a fun, dance filled, colorful, and exciting show about a young man with a mischievous plan. He pretends to be a lawyer, a pilot, and even a doctor all while committing mass bank fraud and being chased by the FBI.”
Taylor said that the company has worked extremely hard, and are so excited for people to see the show.
