Do your Dance

Some students who attended this years Homecoming dance said they  were disappointed in the Dancing Through the Decades theme, the already popular and over played music, and overall system of the dance.

Mckenna Vento said, “I didn’t like the theme or the spirit days. I thought they were weird.  However, I did like the music.”

Vento says, “I didn’t really get the decades theme and it wasn’t that fun.”

Chatham, however, didn’t like the music, “The deejay played old songs that have been repeated constantly over the radio.”

Vento and Chatham agree that homecoming would be better with a date.

“I think this year was the best because I actually had a date,” says Vento.

Chatham who went with freshman Teddy Bartholomew says, “I’m happy I went with a date. It was really fun.”

Both Vento and Chatham agreed homecoming could be better next year.

Vento says, “Although overall I had a good time I want the theme to be better next year and have better music that everyone can enjoy.”

Chatham says, “I would want the music to be better. Maybe more pop music that is easy to dance to for next year’s homecoming.”
