Arrowhead’s website stated, “Arrowhead high school is home to one of the largest Track and Field programs in the area. We pride ourselves on getting as many students as possible involved with the sport. Track is one of the sports at Arrowhead that does not make cuts. Perspective athletes need only sign up ahead of time at the pre-season meeting in February with the start of the season in early March. Practices are held Monday through Friday and usually last from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Each week there is generally a meet for Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman athletes. Most meets are local with a few exceptions for the Varsity team…Arrowhead boys track has a long history of success. We have won multiple championships and runner up finishes at Wisconsin’s oldest and largest state championship. We’ve also won dozens of sectional, regional and conference championships and have had numerous All-American performances at the high school national championship. We have sent countless student athletes on to compete in college, but most importantly, through our high standards and expectations, we have built the character and work ethic necessary to succeed outside of athletics, in hundreds of young men.”
Senior Max Mcquestion said, “Indoor conference is a lot of fun. It’s probably my favorite meet of the year and I’m glad we came out on top this year.”
Senior Will Ripplinger said, “I didn’t get a chance to go out and watch our track team but I have a lot of friends on the team and I am glad they came in first.”
