Officer Freyer Temporarily Absent and Deputy Gondek Fills his Place
Arrowhead High Schools campus sheriff Deputy Freyer is on vacation for the week of September 18th through September 22nd so with him gone, Deputy Gondek has arrived to fulfil Freyer’s duties and keep the school safe says Deputy Gondek.
Deputy Gondek says, “Freyer and I will call and email each other to let each other what’s going on. I will leave him notes he will leave me notes on what may happen during the week so I am aware of it.”
Arrowhead High School is secure, due to the officers that realm the campus, says Deputy Gondek. But a new officer is concerning some students.
Student Jalen Webster says, “Freyer knows everyone at school better so it makes me feel safer. And with a random deputy in the school, it could put it at risk due to lack of knowledge.”
Jessica Surdyk says, “I feel equally as safe with a different Deputy here.”
Deputy Gondek says, “With Freyer gone communication is very essential to pursue the safety of the school while he is gone.”
Student Jalen Webster say “With Freyer gone and someone new in the school there is more room for stuff to go wrong.”
Deputy Gondek claims he knows what is going on the in the school and is well aware of what could happen in the future when Freyer is not here.
Jessica Surdyk says “I barely see Freyer anyways so it doesn’t make a difference with him gone.”
Both Deputy Freyer and Gondek say “We have communicated well.”
Deputy Gondek says “My main duty is to make sure no one enters the school that isn’t supposed to.”
Deputy Gondek filled in Freyer’s place while gone. Freyer has returned and will fulfil the duties deputy Gondek has covered for him.
